Plasma Cloud’s WiFi 6 universal solution for almost any setup. With dual band & dual stream 802.11ax WiFi in a compact weather resistant housing the PAX1800 may serve as office or hotel WiFi backbone, coffee shop hotspot and outdoor WiFi extension. It shines in high density and high throughput demand scenarios as well, such as in schools, universities, airports and shopping malls.
Strong PerformanceThe PAX1800 offers 2.4 GHz 802.11ax and 5 GHz 802.11ax concurrent WiFi with data rates up to 572+1200 Mbps
Free Cloud-ManagementThe PAX1800 does not require an on-site controller, but is administered via a free cloud controller. This allows access points and networks to be set up, scaled and managed and monitored from anywhere in the shortest possible time.
Flexible Power OptionsThe PAX1800 can be powered by 802.3at PoE (Power over Ethernet), which reduces installation costs and effort for locations without available power lines. Furthermore, when connected to a Plasma Cloud PoE switch, PoE allows to centrally manage & monitor the power supply. Alternatively, the PAX1800 can also be operated with a 12V power supply.
Smart Ethernet PortsThe 2 provided Ethernet ports allow for maximum flexibility: one port can be used as wired uplink while the other port serves as LAN access for other wired devices. Each Ethernet port comes with a smart uplink detection to automatically determining whether a port should be uplink or provide LAN access.
Universal Mounting OptionsRegardless where to place the Access Points – on a wall, ceiling grid, pole, outdoors – the installer kit included with every Access Point facilitates the installation. Easily pluggable mounting options got you covered for every scenario. And thanks to the water- and dustproof housing with IP55 certification, it does not matter whether the PAX1800 is installed indoors or outdoors. |
Notes For each device purchased, Plasma Cloud grants an additional cloud management license for Open Mesh devices. This means that you migrate one of your current Open Mesh devices to the Plasma Cloud for each Plasma Cloud device purchased. Please note, of course, that if you cancel your order, the additional license will expire. As of now the PAX1800 does not support the mesh feature. This will be enabled in the future. |
